You’ll work with a wide range of businesses, helping prepare accounts, supporting corporation tax and compliance work, and working with financial information from source documents through to final accounts. You’ll build relationships with clients, use accounting technology and, as your experience grows, gain exposure to management accounts and wider advisory work to help clients understand their finances and support future growth.

Your training

You’ll train through a combination of structured study, hands-on client work and support from experienced colleagues. You’ll build your skills by working on real accounts assignments while studying towards AAT Levels 3 and 4, followed by ACA Level 7. MHA provides full study support, including tuition, exam fees, study materials and dedicated study leave, alongside regular mentoring and practical on-the-job guidance.

Where it leads

Successful completion of the apprenticeship can lead to a long-term career in Accounts and Business Advisory at MHA. As your qualifications, technical knowledge and client experience grow, you can progress into more senior roles, take on greater responsibility for client portfolios and advisory work, and continue developing towards management and specialist opportunities.
