Privacy Policy — Apprentice League

Last updated: 30 July 2026

Apprentice League ("we", "us") operates apprenticeleague.co.uk. This policy explains what information we handle and why.

Information we handle

Browsing. Browsing and searching apprenticeships, the provider league table, and free training requires no account and collects no personal information from you.

Newsletter. If you subscribe to our email updates, we store the email address you provide and use it only to send you those updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

CV services. If you choose a paid CV service and submit your details, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, your CV, and the vacancy advert you upload. We use this solely to deliver the service you paid for. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to make the payment.

Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Email delivery. Submitted CVs and adverts are sent to our team by email so we can complete your order.

Provider data. Information shown about training providers (Ofsted grades, achievement rates, league positions) is published public-sector data about organisations, not personal data collected from you.

How we use your information

To provide the CV review or cover-letter service you requested.

To contact you about your order.

To send the newsletter you subscribed to.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep CV submission data only as long as needed to deliver your service and meet legal obligations, then delete it. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Third parties

We use Stripe (payments) and Resend (email delivery). Vacancy listings link out to the official government apprenticeship service, and free-training links go to the course providers — all of which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. If you are in the UK/EU, you have rights under UK GDPR / GDPR.
