Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 July 2026. These terms govern your use of apprenticeleague.co.uk (“Apprentice League”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What Apprentice League is
Apprentice League displays officially advertised UK apprenticeship vacancies from the Department for Education’s vacancy service, alongside published data about training providers (Ofsted inspection outcomes and DfE achievement rates). We are a discovery and research tool. We are not a recruitment agency, a training provider, or an agent of any employer or provider listed on the site, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Ofsted or the Department for Education.
2. The league table is information, not advice
League positions, Ofsted grades, and achievement rates reflect published official data at the time we last refreshed it, combined using the formula on our methodology page. They are a starting point for your own research, not a verdict on any provider or a guarantee of your experience with them. No provider can pay to change its position.
3. Accuracy of listings
Vacancy data comes from the Department for Education’s official service and can change or be withdrawn at any time. We refresh listings daily, but we do not warrant that any listing, wage figure, closing date, or provider rating is accurate, complete, or still open. The authoritative version of any vacancy is the official posting we link to, and applications are made there — never through us.
4. Free training links
Links to free courses are provided for convenience. Course providers may change their pricing or availability at any time; we verify “free” status periodically and state known catches, but the course provider’s own terms always apply.
5. Paid services
Where we offer paid services (CV review and cover-letter preparation), the scope of each service is described at the point of purchase and payment is processed by Stripe. Paid services are delivered digitally. Because work begins promptly and deliverables are personalised, refunds are handled case by case — contact us and we will put it right or refund you where the service has not been delivered as described. Paid services improve your application materials; they do not guarantee interviews or offers. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to make the purchase.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to scrape, bulk-download, or resell the site’s data; not to use the site to send spam or misrepresent yourself to employers or providers; and not to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service. We may block access that breaches these terms.
7. Intellectual property
The site’s design, editorial content, and the league-table presentation are ours. Vacancy descriptions remain the property of the employers who published them and are reproduced from the official service for discovery purposes, with links to the original posting. Ofsted and DfE data is public-sector information used under the Open Government Licence.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apprentice League is provided “as is” and we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on listings or provider data, from decisions made about applications or training, or from interruptions to the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions? Use the contact page.
