Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the finance team
  • Accurately entering financial data into accounting systems
  • Assist with the management of accounts payable and receivable
  • Process invoices
  • Deal with customer and supplier queries
  • Learn and understand company processes, procedures and systems
  • Attend and actively participate in apprenticeship training, workshops and related learning activities
  • Complete all apprenticeship coursework and assessments within agreed timescales
  • Support business improvement initiatives and projects where appropriate
  • Contribute positively to team objectives and departmental activities
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role and level of the apprenticeship

Your training

The apprentice will be required to attend college 1 day per week to work towards their AAT Level 3 qualification.

In addition, they will be allocated with an assessor who will hold regular reviews with them, to set assignments and monitor progress.
