This is a developmental role designed to support the postholder in gaining practical experience and a formal qualification in Business Administration. The apprenticeship will offer exposure to a range of business processes and administrative systems, developing essential professional and organisational skills within a supportive environment.
To provide efficient, professional, and confidential administrative support across multiple departments within Fixfirm, while ensuring exceptional front-of-house service and contributing to the delivery of effective operations.
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative assistance to the team, including document preparation, filing, scanning, and record maintenance
- Support recruitment processes, including job advertising, and monitoring of applications
- Support internal communication and engagement initiatives, contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Finance Administration Support
- Assist the Finance team with routine administrative and clerical tasks, including invoice entry, purchase order processing, and document filing
- Assist with credit control, building successful relationships with customers and suppliers through positive communication
- Maintain accurate and organised financial records for audit and reporting purposes
- Provide data-entry and reconciliation support as directed by the Finance Manager
General Office Administration
- Support office management tasks including stationery orders, office supplies, and maintenance coordination
- Assist with the organisation of internal meetings, training sessions, and company events
- Contribute to the improvement of administrative processes and interdepartmental coordination
Your training
- The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Level 3 Business Administration
- The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course
- This is a monthly release programme, which means you will attend Lincoln College, once a month, term-time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours

- The successful candidate will receive mentoring and structured training while developing professional, technical, and interpersonal skills essential for a successful career in business administration. We have taken on most of our apprentices into a full-time role once their course is completed
