Duties Include:
- Loading Brass Bar into the CNC bar feeders
- Starting programs with the supervision of the CNC Machinist ensuring that the 1st off quality is acceptable to proceed with full batch manufacturing
- Stopping machines effectively when programs have finished
Monitoring the machines during manufacturing:
- Confirming quality of the products during the manufacturing process to drawings and other requirements
- Ensuring levels of consumables are correct before and during manufacturing
Maintenance of the machines and manufacturing areas:
- Cleaning and safety checks of the machines and manufacturing area
- Tooling checks and reporting of worn tools or issues to the CNC Machinist
