Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote children's development
Supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive nursery environment
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space, including toys and equipment
Support children in developing basic skills such as sharing, communication, and self-care
Drive initiatives that encourage children's creativity and curiosity through play-based learning

Training will take place at work

Once qualified, you can commence a career in nurseries or schools. You could undertake further qualifications for leadership roles.
