  • Nursery apprentices are contracted to the nursery company and are actively engaged in a workplace training scheme operated by an external company that visits the apprentice at regular intervals during their training
  • Nursery apprentices will support the nursery team in the operation of the nursery facilities, to ensure high-quality education and care is delivered
  • To adhere to Banana Moon policies and procedures and meet legislative requirements, and follow the Early Learning and Development Programme.
  • To assist the staff team to create a safe, caring, and welcoming setting in which families are happy to entrust their child and where their child is encouraged and supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment

Your training

Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

  • The Early Years Educator qualification will take place in the workplace, delivered by a hybrid model, which will include face-to-face visits, webinars and meetings with the skills coach every four weeks

Where it leads

  • The successful candidate will have the option to complete other courses whilst in the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a happy nursery where we focus on encouraging children to be children, learning through fun and engaging play. You will be working with a dedicated team in a caring, family friendly, characterful, and stimulating environment which is inviting to children, families, and staff.

I am happy to confirm that we are happy to accept apprentices at our setting. Banana Battersea operates Monday to Friday, 7:30am-6:30pm. Our setting opens at 8am, but you can pay for an early drop off from 7:30am and at late pick up. Late pick is from 6:00pm to 6:30pm.
