  • Pass the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) exams via Skills Edge
  • Direct on-the-job training and experience supporting one of the partners, to build understanding and rapport with the clients to be working with
  • Arranging meetings and file preparation
  • Working on client files for pre and post reviews, and new client meetings to update files
  • Once experienced and competent, setting up protection assurance for clients

Your training

Training will take place online within the workplace and consist of weekly e-learning, monthly seminars and quarterly masterclasses to achieve the apprenticeship standard. 

Where it leads

Once qualified and proven competences, as clients passed across, a switch from employed to self-employed aligning to partnership rules and additional tax planning this can bring.

Partner will be planning a timescale to their retirement and more client ownership and earnings will be structured towards successful candidate and reduction in Partners Day to day involvement, so in effect a work-out package for Partner and increasing role/ownership in Evans Ash for the successful candidate.

Future exams, unless required by regulation, at applicants cost for their benefit.

Things to consider

All applicants should have an awareness of financial planning.

Consideration given to experienced paraplanner without a degree. 

  • Pass DBS check and maintain future checks
  • No credit issues and awareness that poor credit will cause a loss of employment to meet FCA rules on this
  • Ongoing credit checks annually
  • Access to own car for meetings outside office and full driving licence to be both maintained when qualified
