- Supporting the Head Gardener with seasonal tasks
- Assist with maintenance and development of the estate
- Pruning, Hedge cutting, Planting, Weeding & Mulching
- Lawn care including, mowing, edging, scarifying, feeding
- Care of Flower beds, shrubs, trees and orchards
- Safe operation of Horticultural machinery, strimmer’s, hedge cutters, pedestrian mowers and ride on tractors
- Ensuring all areas are maintained & Presented to the highest standard
- Respect the Privacy of the estate owners
Your training
- Reaseheath Training will be the apprenticeship provider for this Level 2 apprenticeship
- The employer will give guidance and support throughout
- Off-the-job training must make up at least 20% of the apprentice’s contracted hours, over the total duration of the apprentice’s planned training period
- This Standard apprenticeship may include Functional Skills in maths, English & ICT

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic gardener to work alongside and support the Head Gardener in maintaining and developing the gardens and grounds to an exceptionally high standard.
Our Head Gardener is a passionate experienced gardener hoping to create opportunities and inspire the next generation of horticulturalists.Together with his team transform and maintain the grounds around the estate.
