- Electrical and mechanical installation and maintenance work on rooftops across our UK portfolio.
- Install Building Maintenance Units (BMUs), monorails, davit systems and fall protection systems.
- Assist with inspection, servicing and maintenance work.
- Learn electrical fault-finding and mechanical maintenance techniques.
- Learn to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Support commissioning and testing activities.
- Complete training and competency assessments as part of your engineering development plan.
- Work under a lead engineer and mentor to build your skills.
Your training
- Meet the occupational standards for our industry sector.
- Intermediate apprenticeship: Maintenance and operations engineering technician.
- Attend block release at college.
- You will be assessed in the workplace and create a portfolio of competence.
- Individual internal training and development plan.
Where it leads
We have a structured progression route for apprentices, once they have completed and achieved. Your progress is continually reviewed, and opportunities are explained at your annual review.
Many of our senior engineers and managers started their careers as apprentices. Upon successful completion, you may progress into roles including:
- Maintenance Engineer.
- Installation Engineer.
- Lead Engineer.

- Enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable working at height (no known fear of heights).
- Can work well as part of a team.
- Are willing to travel nationally.
