  • Performing routine IT maintenance tasks, including software updates and antivirus scans
  •  Participating in IT projects, such as system upgrades and deployments
  • Collaborating with the IT team to learn and implement IT policies and best practices
  • Documenting IT processes and configurations to support knowledge sharing
  • Liaising with external vendors and service providers as part of the procurement and support process
  • Taking ownership of tasks and ensuring they are completed to a high standard
  • Keeping IT support tickets up to date, accurately logging progress, resolutions, and any follow-up actions
  • Troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and network issues, contributing to timely resolutions
  •  Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, such as desktops, laptops, and printers

Your training

Information Communications Technician Level 3.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gain practical, hands-on experience supporting IT systems while working alongside experienced professionals. You will have access to both internal and external learning resources to enhance your technical knowledge and professional development.
