Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC milling and turning machines under supervision
  • Assist with setup, tooling, and material preparation
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Produce precision components to tight tolerances
  • Use measuring equipment including micrometers and gauges
  • Support inspection and quality control processes
  • Learn CNC programming fundamentals (G-code)
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment
  • Follow all health & safety procedures
  • Complete apprenticeship coursework with SIGTA

Apprenticeship Training (SIGTA):

  • Workplace learning combined with off-the-job training
  • Day or block release at SIGTA training centre
  • Qualification: Level 3 Engineering Technician/Machining Technician
  • Training includes machining, materials, CNC programming, drawings, quality and safety
