  • Assist with planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities on production machinery and site equipment
  • Support engineers in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
  • Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and schematics
  • Participate in equipment inspections and condition monitoring activities
  • Assist with machine installations, modifications, and improvement projects
  • Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and efficiency
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and tidy condition
  • Attend and successfully complete the associated apprenticeship training programme
  • Develop a strong understanding of engineering principles, maintenance practices, and industry standards

  • 1 day a week at Northampton College Booth Lane
