- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance in all areas
- Quickly find and fix faults
- Improve machine performance
- Prevent recurring faults by making design changes
- Help others with complex fault diagnosis
- Find and introduce new technology, working with equipment suppliers
- Work with project teams and suppliers
- Make technical improvements to machines
- Perform high-level fault diagnosis and repairs quickly
- Maintain quality management systems, including drawings and procedures
- Stay updated on new technology and introduce it to the business
- Meet departmental performance targets
- Ensure machines are available and meet targets
- Achieve annual goals and save costs
- Manage projects on time and within budget
- Follow the Asset Care program and report on its effectiveness
- Comply with internal health, safety, and quality audits
Your training
- This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Engineering Campus. This attendance is required during term time only
- You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession
- You will experience a blended learning model

Robinson’s plastics division specialises in custom packaging with technical and value-added solutions for food and consumer product hygiene, safety, protection, and convenience. Our main activity is in injection and blow moulded plastic packaging, operating within the food and drink, personal care and beauty, and homecare sectors.
