What you’ll be doing day to day:

Each day will be a mix of working on cases, talking to people and keeping everyone up to date. You might be requesting documents from a client in the morning, submitting a case to a lender at lunchtime and chasing a solicitor for an update in the afternoon. You’ll use our CRM to track progress, and you’ll be in regular contact with clients, lenders, insurers and solicitors by phone and email.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting advisers with pre-offer mortgage cases by requesting documents from clients, checking they’re complete and submitting them to lenders
  • Keeping clients updated on the progress of their application
  • Managing post-offer cases by checking in with solicitors and passing updates to clients promptly
  • Helping advisers process protection applications, from submission through to the policy going on cover
  • Keeping accurate, up-to-date records on our systems
Handling client information confidentially and in line with data protection rules
  • Learning about the mortgage and protection market, with support from experienced advisers as you work towards your CeMAP 1 qualification

Where it leads

This apprenticeship is a great first step towards a long-term career in financial services. You’ll build a strong understanding of how mortgage and protection cases work, gain experience across every stage of the client journey, and work towards your CeMAP 1 qualification with support from your tutor and our experienced advisers.
