You will get involved within all the various disciplines of painting a cabin both internally and externally.
- Sanding and rubbing down metal and wood with both hand and electrical tools
- Prepping for painting both internally and externally
- Using rollers and brushes on various surfaces
- Learning to hang doors and other elements of the cabin, making business if you so desire
Your training
Painter & Decorator apprentices attend college on block release, which is for 2 weeks at a time (14 weeks over the academic year) and work for their employer for the rest of the time. If required, Functional Skills are delivered as a separate block release.
