Are you looking to learn a skilled trade while earning and gaining a recognised qualification? Mitie Property Services is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Painter & Decorator to join our growing North West team.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills, gain valuable experience, and build a long-term career with one of the UK's leading property services companies. Working alongside experienced decorators, you'll receive full training in all aspects of painting and decorating across a variety of commercial, residential and public sector projects.

As an Apprentice Painter & Decorator, you will learn and assist with:

  • Internal and external painting and decorating works.
  • Surface preparation, including sanding, filling and minor repairs.
  • Safe use and maintenance of painting and decorating tools, materials and equipment.
  • Setting up and using access equipment following appropriate training.
  • Installing protective coverings, temporary screening and access plant as required.
  • Maintaining stock levels and ensuring materials are available when needed.
  • Delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
  • Working safely and complying with Health & Safety procedures at all times.
  • Supporting project teams to ensure works are completed on time and to a high standard.

Your training

As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a Level 2 Painting & Decorating qualification which normally runs for 2 years. You will be fully supported by our partnered to achieve this qualification by having 1-2-1 advice and support, e-learning materials, and a whole team of experts on hand for advice and technical knowledge at your office.
