Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Provide a professional, friendly and helpful service to customers at all times.
  • Represent The Rudd Group positively whilst working on customer sites.
  • Develop effective communication skills when dealing with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
  • Assist in resolving customer queries by communicating with the appropriate departments.
  • Learn how excellent customer service contributes to customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.

Installation & Operational Support

  • Assist Installation Technicians with the installation and removal of gaming machines, pool tables and associated equipment.
  • Safely load, unload and move equipment using correct manual handling techniques.
  • Prepare equipment and vehicles for daily installations.
  • Ensure company vehicles are clean, organised and stocked appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised depot environment.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.

Business Administration Experience

As part of the apprenticeship, you will gain experience within other departments including:

  • Supporting depot administration.
  • Assisting with planning and scheduling installations and removals.
  • Contacting customers to arrange installation and removals.
  • Learning about licensing requirements and business compliance.
  • Supporting customer account administration and debt collection processes.
  • Developing an understanding of stock control and depot operations.
  • Building knowledge of how different departments work

Your training

Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor and training will be
planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet
the individual needs of the apprentice. On the job and off the job training will be delivered in the workplace. Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the Occupational Standard.

Where it leads

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, a permanent role
may be offered, subject to performance and business requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Applicants should be physically fit and able to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with manual handling and
    the lifting and moving of heavier items where required.
