You will be fully trained in line with legal, industry and clinic requirements in:

  • Waxing
  • Hand and nail treatments
  • Foot treatments
  • Facial and skin care treatments
  • Eyelash and eyebrow treatments
  • Makeup application
  • Basic massage treatments

Your job role will also include:

  • Reception duties
  • Supporting therapists
  • Practice skills on models 
  • Salon hygiene
  • Maintenance and housekeeping duties

Your training

This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Derby Road Campus. This attendance is required during term time only.

You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.

You will experience a blended learning model.

Where it leads

Upon successful completion of your level 2 apprenticeship there will be the opportunity to progress onto level 3 and beyond as well as taking part in manufacturer and product training.
