What you'll do at work:

  • Support the Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Facilities Management team with day-to-day administrative activities
  • Organise meetings, manage calendars and help coordinate team activities
  • Prepare documents, reports, spreadsheets and presentations
  • Take notes in meetings and track actions to ensure tasks are completed
  • Maintain accurate records and keep information up to date
  • Respond to enquiries and build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Assist with health, safety, wellbeing and facilities management projects and initiatives
  • Support the planning and delivery of events, campaigns and awareness activities
  • Provide administrative support for workplace inspections, audits and compliance activities
  • Monitor shared inboxes and ensure enquiries are directed to the appropriate person
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
  • Complete apprenticeship learning and coursework alongside your day-to-day role
  • Training will be provided throughout the apprenticeship, giving you the knowledge, skills and experience needed to build a successful career in business administration

Your training

Training will be delivered through a combination of workplace learning and off-the-job training with MBKB Training. Most of your learning will take place at our Mansfield office, where you'll be supported by experienced colleagues while developing practical skills in a real working environment.

You will attend regular training sessions with MBKB Training and be given dedicated time during your working week to complete coursework, build your knowledge and work towards achieving your Business Administration Level 3 qualification.

Where it leads

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you'll have the skills, knowledge and experience to progress into a Business Administration role or continue developing a career in areas such as Health, Safety, Wellbeing, Facilities Management or wider business support functions. There may also be opportunities to undertake further professional qualifications and training to support your future career development.

Things to consider

Applicants must be able to travel to our Mansfield office and be eligible to undertake an apprenticeship under the current apprenticeship funding rules. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training and workplace activities.
