- Transfer information on paper onto the computer database
- Update existing database with the new information
- Take customer, client or patient details to add to a database and create new job records
- Create and update spreadsheets word documents
- Process invoices and orders
- Organise and file paperwork correctly and follow data confidentiality processes, filing of paper records
- Reception duties greeting customers and suppliers, face to face
- Support office admin staff duties
- Be proficient in using Microsoft Office especially Word, Outlook and Excel and the ability to learn new software quickly
- Scan and file documents onto a database
- Scheduling diaries and contact customer to organise appointments
- Liaise with engineers to order parts and distribute work via calls and the business WhatsApp
- To carry out photocopying as required
- Managing emails and respond to routine correspondence
- Managing incoming emails, phone calls and general enquires, ensuring timely responses and escalation where required
- Dealing with incoming stock and parts
- Subject to experience and competence, you may be required to undertake other duties as per the company requirements e.g. hoover, empty bins, tidy the offices and office areas etc to cover for a cleaner. Make drinks for visitors etc.
