This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised individual to begin their career in business administration with Indurent, a leading UK industrial and logistics business.

Based in our Stockport office, the Business Administration Assistant Apprentice will provide practical support to the administration team and wider business. The role will help ensure the office runs smoothly, visitors receive a professional welcome, colleagues are well supported and key day-to-day processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

You will be part of a friendly, professional and collaborative team, gaining experience across a wide range of office and business administration activities.

This may include:

  • Welcoming visitors and supporting front-of-house activity in a professional and friendly way
  • Helping to organise meeting rooms, refreshments, lunches and office events
  • Supporting diary management, travel arrangements, hotel bookings and meeting coordination where required
  • Assisting with office supplies, stock-taking, post, couriers and general office organisation
  • Supporting onboarding activity for new starters, including helping colleagues settle into the office environment
  • Helping maintain office equipment, stationery, supplies and shared spaces
  • Supporting expense processing, document management and general administration tasks
  • Liaising with colleagues across teams including HR, IT, Finance, Asset Management and Facilities Management
  • Supporting business projects, events and team activities as required
  • Learning how to use key business systems such as Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint and other internal platforms
  • Helping promote a positive office culture by being helpful, proactive and professional

As part of the apprenticeship, you will receive structured training and support while developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for a career in business administration.  This will include necessary mandatory learning for our sector.  You will also gain valuable experience working within a business that values collaboration, accountability, curiosity, fairness and a dynamic approach to work.

Your training

  • The Apprenticeship training will take place in the workplace with allocated time dedicated to complete any college work
  • Support provided by a dedicated Trainer Assessor

Things to consider

This is a busy office-based role where priorities can change quickly. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable supporting a range of tasks, dealing with colleagues and visitors, keeping shared spaces organised and completing administrative work accurately.

Some tasks may be routine, such as ordering supplies, setting up meeting rooms, booking travel and accommodation, managing post or updating records, but these activities are important to keeping the office and wider business running smoothly. The role requires professionalism, reliability, discretion and a willingness to learn.
