- Process raw material deliveries by receiving goods into the ERP system, updating the receipt log, and scanning documentation.
- Process dispatch notes and sales orders by booking orders out of the ERP system, closing sales, and scanning relevant documents.
- Liaise with production and warehouse teams on deliveries and dispatches and communicate daily updates to the delivery and loading plan.
- Support production planning by printing and issuing Production Record Sheets, Quality Control sheets, and product labels.
- Process and scan completed Production Record Sheets and Quality Control sheets, book production into the ERP system, and create Certificates of Analysis for specific customer orders.
- Support other supply chain administration tasks, including sending customer samples, booking transport, and preparing dispatch notes and related documents.
- Undertake project work linked to daily business activities to help improve systems, processes, information, and data.
- Carry out reception duties, including answering calls and assisting visitors and drivers.
- Handle ad hoc requests from the Customer Service and Supply Chain Team and carry out other duties as required.
Your training
Training will be delivered through a combination of workplace learning and off-the-job study, either at Barnsley College or on site, leading to the Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 apprenticeship standard.
