  • Personal Care: Help clients with washing, bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting or continence care.
  • Medication Support: Prompt or assist clients to take prescribed medicines following care plans.
  • Meals and Nutrition: Prepare meals, support with eating and drinking, and handle basic grocery shopping.
  • Household Support: Assist with light domestic duties such as laundry, tidying, and keeping the living space safe.
  • Companionship and Community: Provide emotional support, talk with clients, and help them get out or take part in social activities.

Further progression may well be available in other areas within our sector, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Prudent Domiciliary Care is looking for a friendly, organised and motivated Care assisants Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career who would like to gain practical care experience while completing a recognised apprenticeship qualification. We particularly welcome applications from school or college leavers aged 17–19.
