The Composites Technician Apprenticeship will include structured stages of development, All required to manufacture high quality composite components, which include:
- Induction and safety training.
- Basic composite manufacturing skills in different areas of the process.
- Material handling and preparation.
- Manufacturing techniques & skills development including; Kit cutting, Laminating, Breakout, Trim & Assembly departments.
- Quality inspection & adherence processes.
Your training
Qualifications included:
- Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship Standard. Company Training Plan & Assessment.
- Level 2 Diploma in manufacturing - Knowledge & Skills (workplace).
- Level 1 Functional Skills - Maths (If required).
- Level 1 Functional Skills - English (If required).
- End Point Assessment at the end of the apprenticeship.

Things to consider
- Regardless of technical knowledge or skill set, a great attitude and respect for the core values of the business and hard work are expected to form the foundation of any member of the Bamd team. Arriving to work on time and respecting their peers who are training them are very important factors.
- Applicants must be able to drive and over 18 due to working hours and hold a full clean UK driving licence. Be able to have the right to work in the UK.
