About the Role:

The primary focus of this role is to turn our established brand and marketing strategy into engaging, professional and consistent social media content.

Working from our brand guidelines, key messaging and content pillars, you will be responsible for helping develop, create and schedule content that increases brand recognition, audience engagement and awareness of our services.

We are looking for someone with a creative eye, strong attention to detail and the ability to take a content brief or idea and turn it into a polished, ready-to-publish post.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate our brand and marketing strategy into engaging content for LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Create professional, on-brand graphics, carousels, short-form videos and social media posts
  • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar, ensuring content is planned and scheduled in advance
  • Ensure all content follows Davies Express's established branding, including logo, colours, typography and tone of voice
  • Write engaging captions and supporting copy tailored to each platform and its audience
  • Capture and edit photographs and videos of our people, vehicles and operations
  • Research competitor activity, industry trends and successful content formats to generate new ideas
  • Work with colleagues to identify customer stories, operational achievements and content opportunities
  • Monitor social media engagement and contribute to monthly performance reporting
    Support the creation of other branded marketing materials when required

Where it leads

After completing the Content Creator Apprenticeship, you could progress into roles such as Content Creator, Social Media Assistant, Digital Marketing Assistant or Content Producer, with opportunities to specialise or move into more senior creative roles.
