As an apprentice you will work at a company and get hand-on experience.  You will gain new skills and work alongside experience staff and tasks will include;

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and customer enquiries
  • Schedule site visits, invoices, and purchase orders
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors and clients
  • Maintain accurate records of glazing jobs and materials 
  • Learn how to cut glass
  • Assist with on-site glazing works which will help develop knowledge
  • Have an interest in working with glass

Your training

  • An apprenticeship includes regular training at college as part of the qualification requirements (one full day per month) and the college is based in Plymouth so access to own transport would be helpful.

Where it leads

  • Progressing onto higher level opportunities within the company in either sales or management upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
