As a level 3 apprentice, you will be a key member of the nursery team.

Your daily activities may include:

  • Planning and implementing fun and educational activities with the children 
  • Play alongside and with children to support their play
  • Supporting children’s creative and imaginative experiences 
  • Maintaining development records on key children 
  • Supervising children at rest times and at mealtimes 
  • Contributing to and promoting health and safety 
  • Ensuring the play area is clean and tidy at all times 
  • Working closely with parents and providing feedback on their child 
  • Useful Qualities to have

Your training

Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator Diploma
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
  • On-the-job training

Where it leads

  • Progression to a higher level qualification or full-time employment may be available after completion of the apprenticeship

Daisychain Clifton Nursery for pre-school children, from birth to 5 years old, is set in a 4-floor beautifully renovated Victorian building in the heart of Clifton village. They are very proud of their ample outdoor play space as this has enabled them to develop a stimulating and enriched learning experience. Transitions between groups and upwards through the nursery years are handled sensitively. The nursery have been inspected by Ofsted in 2020 and 2014, the most recent inspection earnt them another Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rating.
