  • Assisting qualified electricians with commercial and industrial electrical installations
  • Learning safe working practices and electrical regulations
  • Installing cable containment, wiring systems, lighting and power installations
  • Supporting electrical testing, inspection and commissioning activities
  • Preparing tools, materials and work areas
  • Working both in our workshop and on customer sites across the UK
  • Developing fault-finding and problem-solving skills under supervision
  • Completing college coursework alongside practical experience.

Your training

  • 80% of this apprenticeship is working with the employer and 20% is 'off the job' which includes attending Leicester College, one day each week

Things to consider
