You will work alongside experienced technicians and engineers to safely and efficiently support the manufacturing process.
This can involve:
- ·Supporting planned preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities on a variety of electrical systems and critical production equipment.
- Assisting with the calibration, testing, and maintenance of process instrumentation, including temperature, flow, level, and pressure measurement devices.
- Developing fault-finding skills through the use of electrical drawings, diagnostic equipment, and structured problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Helping to build, wire, modify, and install electrical control panels and associated control systems.
- Contributing to installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement projects that enhance plant reliability, operational performance, and safety.
- Learning how to safely plan, document, and complete maintenance activities in accordance with permit-to-work procedures, isolation standards, and COMAH site safety requirements.
- Working alongside experienced electrical, mechanical, production, and engineering professionals to solve technical challenges and support the safe operation of a major chemical manufacturing facility.
