  • Work consistently with in the remit of all company policies and procedures (health and safety, quality, HR and environmental)
  • Assist qualified engineers with planned preventive maintenance
  • Carry out basic engineering task under supervision
  • Learn to use tools and measuring equipment safely
  • Assist with general maintenance work
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area/place
  • Ensure a high standard of work is adhered too
  • Ensure all work is captured and recorded correctly
  • Have a flexible approach
  • To carry out project works assigned and on time
  • Understand the difference between planned and preventive maintenance

Your training

  • An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry-specific competence.
  • You will be expected to work towards a Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group
