About Action for Carers (Surrey)
Action for Carers Surrey is a local charity that makes a real difference to the lives of unpaid carers—people who look after a family member, friend or neighbour who could not manage without their support.
We work with young carers (5-16), young adult carers (16-24) and adult carers (25+) to provide practical advice, emotional support, training, events, wellbeing services and opportunities for carers to connect with others, helping them maintain their own health, confidence and independence while caring for someone else.
Things to consider
- LIved experience as an unpaid carer, possibly as a sibling, parent or for a parent or other person, would be desirable but not essential
- It would be helpful to have an understanding of the role unpaid carers play across Surrey
- Due to the nature of this role you will need to be 18+ to apply
