  • Carry out service, repair and maintenance on all equipment in line with Manufacturers standards
  • Assist as part of the workshop team in providing a safe, cost effective and efficient equipment maintenance and repair service
  • Attend manufacturers training courses when required
  • Cover breakdowns
  • Liaise with internal departments, external organisations as appropriate
  • Carry out all duties and responsibilities with full regard to Equal Opportunities Policy, Health and Safety Policy and all other Company policies

  • Working five days per week, inclusive of 1 day release for study at Darlington College

  • Our family business began in 1986 with a single mobile vehicle technician and has grown steadily over the years. We now employ 5 staff and is garage and field based to many of the customers who have been with the business from the beginning.
  • Since occupying the on-site garage we have offered apprenticeships and been very fortunate to fill the positions with young people with an interest in HGV vehicles who have gone on gain their certifications.
  • We offer our clients a 1st class service with a full range of vehicle inspections and repairs these include pre-M O T inspections servicing, diagnostic fault finding, running repairs, breakdown and recovery which is the heart of the business we also have a good relationship with parts providers in the area allowing us to access parts out of hours allowing vehicles to return to work as quickly as possible.
  • Throughout our business life our ethos is to assist companies that are in our area or passing through that have vehicle/trailer issues assisting them to continue as quick as possible on their journey.

Things to consider

  • Please note that in line with UK apprenticeship regulations, you must have a valid and eligible residency status and the right to work in England. This should cover the entire expected term of learning and residency should be held for a minimum of 3 years, exceptions may apply please see Apprenticeship funding rules for full guidance
