  • Assisting with soft landscaping duties including turfing, planting, seeding, and mulching
  • Carrying out grounds maintenance tasks including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, and pruning
  • Preparing sites and setting out for landscaping projects
  • Safe use and basic maintenance of tools and machinery
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times
  • Working effectively as part of a team and supporting senior operatives
  • Attending college as required and completing all coursework towards the Level 2 qualification

Your training

Training will take place 4 x days per week at the workplace, with 1 x day release to East Durham College, Houghall Campus, once every two weeks.
