- Respond to day-to-day IT support requests
- Set up and troubleshoot Macs, Windows PCs and mobile devices
- Support user accounts, applications, email and access
- Help users remotely, in our office and at client sites
- Record work clearly and document useful fixes
- Recognise when to investigate further or ask an experienced engineer for help
- Take increasing ownership as your skills and confidence develop
- Begin to specialise in technical areas where you show strength
Where it leads
We see this as the beginning of a long-term career with us, not simply an 18-month placement. Our intention is for a successful apprentice to progress into a permanent IT Support Engineer role after completing the apprenticeship, provided it remains a good mutual fit.

Tech Ahoy is a London-based IT support company helping organisations use technology securely and effectively. We support macOS and Windows environments, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, device management, networks and cloud services. Our friendly team combines strong technical expertise with practical, personal support.

No professional IT experience is required. We are more interested in your aptitude for technology, curiosity and willingness to learn. You probably already enjoy experimenting with computers, helping friends or family with technology, or working out how devices and applications work.
