Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Engineering:

  • Assist in the modelling of our projects to a high standard and to industry best practice using the latest software
  • Assist in production of construction information including drawings and schedules to all DYSE guidelines and procedures or those of the client as necessary
  • Checks own work

Health & Safety:

  • Be developing knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015 and the duties of designers
  • Fosters safe by design principles

Commercial:

  • Manage own time to work within the financial and programme constraints of a project
  • Manage own time to meet multiple project deadlines

General:

  • Keeps abreast of the latest industry developments
  • Undertakes work in accordance with the relevant company procedures
  • Follows the company’s quality management system

Your training

  • Training will take place both in the workplace and at college
  • You will attend Future Skills College one day per week for your formal training

Where it leads

  • Potential fulltime role upon successfully completing apprenticeship
  • Under the support and encouragement of DYSE, develop towards becoming a professionally qualified member of a relevant institution (EngTech with ICE or IStructE)
