  • Assist with the manufacture and assembly of timber components used in modular buildings
  • Learn to use hand tools, power tools and machinery safely and correctly
  • Support cutting, shaping, assembling and finishing of joinery products
  • Follow technical drawings, instructions and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Adhere to all health, safety and environmental procedures
  • Attend college and training sessions as required and complete all coursework and assessments
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement in skills, knowledge and workmanship 
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the manufacturing operation

Your training

  • Gain a Level 2 qualification in Joinery & Carpentry through an external apprenticeship training provider
  • Work 4 days per week on site and attend college or training provider premises 1 day per week
  • Follow a structured internal training programme designed by experts in the modular construction industry
  • Progress from entry level to semi-skilled, and ultimately to fully skilled status with the right attitude and motivation throughout your career.

This apprenticeship is designed for individuals with no previous experience who are motivated to learn a skilled trade and progress within joinery and modular construction.

  • Reliability, punctuality and commitment to the apprenticeship programme
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Interest in joinery, carpentry or construction

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Can complete these while doing the apprenticeship – need to pass to pass the course)
  • Practical or workshop-based experience (school, college or personal projects
