  • Assisting other Technicians with vehicle maintenance, repairs and servicing
  • Assisting with keeping the workshop clean and tidy
  • Shadowing a mentor for a variety of tasks
  • Learning to maintain and repair vehicles

Your training

  • Working to or at Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification, including Functional Skills in English and maths if required
  • You will be expected to attend college
  • You will be expected to attend in house training

Where it leads

  • To become fully qualified in all areas including EV
  • To become a qualified MOT Tester

Things to consider

You will be working on many different types of vehicles including and not limited to: Cars, Performance Cars, Classic Cars, Vans, Minibuses. You may be required to help lifting heavy objects.
