Main Duties:

  • Support advisers with actions arising from annual and biennial client reviews
  • Prepare and issue client correspondence and ongoing service documentation
  • Liaise with pension providers and investment companies to obtain information and process requests
  • Maintain accurate client records using the firm's CRM system
  • Monitor ongoing service workflows and ensure adviser actions are completed within agreed timescales
  • Assist with general client correspondence and provider communications
  • Support the administration team with day-to-day business administration tasks
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with FCA compliance procedures
  • Handle confidential client information in accordance with GDPR and company policies
  • Support advisers with cash flow analysis and technical planning work as your knowledge develops
  • Undertake any other duties consistent with the nature of the role

Your training

As an apprentice, you will receive support through both on-the-job learning and formal training as part of your apprenticeship programme.

This will typically include:

  • Study towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
  • Ongoing one-to-one mentoring from experienced financial planners and administrators
  • Practical training in financial planning administration, pensions and investments
  • Experience using industry-leading financial planning systems and provider platforms
  • Development of technical knowledge, organisational skills and FCA compliance awareness
  • Opportunity to study towards professional qualifications with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) as your knowledge and experience develop
