- Be a reliable member of the team, working co-operatively and with flexibility
- Develop positive relationships with parents/ guardians and other staff
- To supervise the children and ensure their safety at all times.
- To ensure quality interaction with the children at play (indoor and outdoor) and at mealtimes
- Assist with planning a programme of activities, suitable for the age range of the children in your care
- Assist with the creation of a stimulating and attractive nursery environment
Your training
The apprentice will typically work 4-5 days per week at the nursery, with in-person training taking place once every 2 weeks at Nescot College.

Typical jobs roles following Level 3 Early Years include: playworker, childminder, nursery supervisor, teaching assistant, educational support assistant.
