  • Learning to operate CNC milling machines (including setup and basic programming)
  • Assisting in the machining of ferrite components to tight tolerances
  • Supporting finishing processes to achieve high-quality surface finishes
  • Using inspection equipment to check parts meet specifications
  • Understanding engineering drawings and technical requirements
  • Assisting with machine maintenance and workshop organisation
  • Following health & safety procedures at all times
  • Gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills develop

Where it leads

You will gain full training in CNC machining and precision manufacturing and will then be able to take on more responsibility as your skills develop.
