  • Welcoming members and providing excellent customer service throughout the day.
  • Delivering one-to-one and small group personal training sessions.
  • Creating and updating personalised fitness programmes for clients.
  • Carrying out client consultations, fitness assessments and health screenings.
  • Conducting gym inductions for new members and demonstrating equipment safely.
  • Completing regular gym floor walks to support members and monitor safety.
  • Advising members on exercise techniques, training plans and fitness goals.
  • Monitoring the gym floor to ensure equipment is used correctly and safely.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming gym environment.
  • Cleaning and sanitising gym equipment and training areas.
  • Reporting any faulty equipment, hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Recording client progress, session notes and membership information on gym systems.
  • Promoting personal training services, memberships and gym activities.
  • Responding to membership enquiries and conducting gym tours for prospective members.
  • Delivering group exercise classes (where qualified).
  • Processing bookings, memberships and payments when required.
  • Assisting with stock checks and replenishing gym supplies.
  • Creating content for social media, including photos, videos and fitness tips.
  • Supporting gym events, fitness challenges and promotional activities.
  • Attending team meetings and working closely with colleagues to deliver a positive member experience.
