All general yard duties to include :

  • Mucking out / keeping yard area tidy           
  • Feeding / filling haynets and water buckets
  • Turning in and out
  • Picking out feet / rugging up
  • Grooming / Tacking up
  • Tack Cleaning
  • Bathing / Show Prep
  • Lunging / long reining
  • Holding for farrier / vet / dentist
  • Riding possible for competent applicant who can walk, trot, canter, Jump
  • Possibility of grooming at shows  

Your training

All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours
Your day-to-day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.

About Mr Sebastien Marc Poirier

Sebastien Poirier - Show Jumping Training is a professional showjumping training and livery business based at West Weylands Farm in Esher, Surrey. Sebastien Poirier is a professional French show jumper and UK Accredited Coach Level 2 with the British Showjumping Association. He works with riders of different abilities and provides showjumping training, schooling and competition support. 

The yard provides a professional environment for horses and riders, with a 70m x 30m arena, dedicated jumping field, cross-country fences, individual turnout paddocks, stabling, grooming facilities, horse walker and other specialist equestrian facilities. 

Sebastien also offers full and competition livery, with horses of different grades being cared for and competed on behalf of their owners.

No accommodation is available, so applicants must be able to reliably travel to and from the workplace each day.
