During this time you will learn:

  • To ensure equipment availability is in line with department targets.
  • To engage in root cause analysis of repeat / major breakdowns and provide reports with suggested improvements.
  • To ensure Health, safety and environmental procedures are followed during electrical activities.
  • Attend training when required and adhere to Anochrome Group standards.
  • To facilitate the PPM (planned preventative maintenance) schedules and recommend improvements.
  • To apply 5s methodology in work areas and the wider factory.

Your training

This is a Level 3 Mechatronics apprenticeship, delivered over a 39-month period. The apprentice will attend the training centre, In-Comm Training in Aldridge WS9 8UG, 2 and a half days per week for the first 20 months.

We supply small and large batch sizes, from large defence projects and engine blocks to M3 aerospace fasteners and brake calipers.
