  • To Maintain equipment maintenance records, aligning with GMP/GDP
  • To monitor production efficiency, identify and execute process improvements
  • Deliver electrical, mechanical, PLC, and instrumentation maintenance across the site on all equipment
  • To correctly diagnose any faults and implement sustainable recovery/improvement dealing with the root cause
  • To respond promptly and effectively to ensure quick resolution to any equipment issues to minimise any downtime, quality, and efficiency problems
  • To provide technical support in response to breakdowns on process and IT systems, plant and equipment, including excellent fault-finding techniques
  • To review, improve and apply effective planned maintenance.
  • To Increase available line capacity through OEE
  • Participate constructively as a member of the department, keeping everyone informed and proactively share your knowledge and expertise within the team
  • Proactively taking responsibility to support the wider production team achieve their goals and targets
  • Any other activity/tasks as and when requested

Based in the production area you will be mainly responsible for:

  • Mechanical Maintenance
  • Diagnosing electrical
  • Mechanical faults
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Responsible for providing the relevant supervisor/departmental manager with progress updates and raise concerns where necessary
  • Ensure all Health and Safety protocols are followed
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Keep work area in a neat and tidy fashion
  • Clear and accurate completion of all company documentation
  • A willingness to learn new skills and work under own initiative

Your training

You will be working towards a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician standard.

 

Where it leads

Upon successfully completing the apprenticeship, there may be a permanent role available.
