  • Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
  • Supporting children's learning and development through play and planned activities
  • Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Supporting children's personal, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, hygiene, and outdoor play
  • Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging independence
  • Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming learning environment
  • Participating in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

Your training

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

Where it leads

On successful completion of the apprenticeship and with mutual agreement between the apprentice and the nursery, we aim to offer a full contract of employment.
