- You will see work through from the initial call to the end of the job, collecting feedback at the end of jobs from customers as well as supporting the directors to run the business smoothly
- You will need to be confident in speaking on the phone with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- You must be confident in dealing with urgent situations and prioritising customers and jobs
- You will need to be organised and able to work under a little pressure
- To help manage the team of plumbing and heating engineers, organising and managing the diary and appointments and following up on leads
- Looking at work flow, ensuring engineers have what they need and the routes of their days are planned accurately and efficiently
- Computer knowledge and experience is crucial in the role as you will be working with a computer system to book appointments, manage the engineers diaries, create quotations and use our company systems
- You will work alongside a team of plumbing and heating engineers and be supported by our office administrators and the directors of the business in the office
- A customer service / sales background would be preferable however training will be given
- There is opportunity for more responsibility and growth within the company as the company expands

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £8.00 per hour as of 1st of April 2026. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are currently £10.85 an hour for 18-20 year olds; £12.71 for anyone aged 21 and over.
For apprentices aged 19 or over, once you reach the 2nd year of your apprenticeship you will be entitled to the national minimum wage for your age group.
