  • Receive and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and dispense medicines under supervision
  • Support patients with their medication and answer routine queries
  • Check stock levels, order medicines and maintain pharmacy supplies
  • Label, package and organise medicines safely
  • Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
  • Support the pharmacy team with daily operations and customer service
  • Follow pharmacy procedures, health and safety requirements and confidentiality guidelines
  • Keep the pharmacy clean, organised and welcoming
  • Work towards completing the Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship qualification

Your training

Pharmacy Technician (integrated) Level 3.

Training will be delivered through Buttercups Training alongside the apprentice’s day-to-day learning at Queensway Pharmacy. The apprentice will attend scheduled training sessions with Buttercups and complete learning activities throughout the apprenticeship, supported by their workplace team.
