As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work:

  • Assisting with general repairs and maintenance across the site or building
  • Checking and maintaining fixtures, fittings, and equipment
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, tenants, and clients on site
  • Learning to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications
  • Ensuring tools and materials are prepared and stored safely

Your training

  • The apprenticeship includes regular training with Greenlight
  • Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying
